December 4, 2020, Beijing-Cisco Greater China once again ranked among the top three in the "Best Workplace in Greater China" list. The award was awarded by the "Excellent Workplace Institute". Huang Zhiming, Cisco's global vice president and CEO of Greater China, delivered a speech at the online awards ceremony with the theme of "Hand in Hand" and participated in the roundtable forum. Prior to this, in October of this year, Cisco topped the list of the "Best Workplaces in the World" jointly issued by the "Excellent Workplace Institute" and "Fortune" magazine for the second consecutive year.

The "World's Best Workplace" selection by the Institute of Excellence for Workplaces is one of the world's largest and authoritative selections for excellent workplaces. In this year's survey of the best workplaces in Greater China, as many as 98% of Cisco employees who participated in the survey were proud to work at Cisco. Cisco's trust-based corporate culture has once again been affirmed by the industry. Under the influence of this year’s epidemic, this is particularly valuable through telecommuting. The changes brought about by the crisis let Cisco employees realize that in an environment of full trust, using their own technological advantages to collaborate efficiently and without barriers, together with everyone's joint efforts, is the source of helping companies win leadership and sustainable development.      This is also one of the important reasons why Cisco was awarded the "Best Workplace in Greater China" top three.

  Cisco China won the honor of "Best Workplace in Greater China"

  As an active practitioner of corporate social responsibility, Cisco has provided donations and materials worth US$225 million to support global and local communities in responding to the epidemic. At the same time, Cisco also made donations to the World Health Organization. At the beginning of the year, the Cisco Foundation launched a disaster response project and launched a 72-hour employee donation event "Let’s Give Together", which raised more than 1.5 million US dollars in donations for the epidemic-spreading areas. In addition, Cisco also convened global employees to encourage them to provide technical support to community partners at the frontline of the epidemic to help them ensure business continuity. With the support of the Cisco Foundation, employees in Greater China raised US$115,620 in donations for Chinese charity organizations to contribute to social welfare undertakings.
